Viewer Access Satellite Television (VAST) is a satellite-delivered service that provides both commercial and national broadcasting services, including ABC and SBS.
VAST was established by the Australian government to offer access to a range of metropolitan-equivalent broadcasting services for individuals living in remote or regional areas.
Viewers located in terrestrial digital television black spots - who would otherwise be unable to access digital television after the switch-off of analog services in their licensed areas - are now eligible to apply for the free VAST service.
For more information or to apply for the VAST service, visit the Official MySwitch Website.
